2/52

This week has felt like the longest week ever after having two weeks off for Christmas. Going back to work after so long off seems to have turned my brain to mush, and I seemed to struggle with the first few days at work without my afternoon naps I became so accustomed too. Towards the end of the week I started to get back into my routine, and didn’t feel the need to climb into bed the minute I got home, so hopefully the next week will be back to normal.

Not only was it back to work this week, but it was also back to the gym and back to slimming world. I mentioned in my 2016 wishes that I’m hoping to lose weight this year, and over the past week I’ve been super good (minus a lot of prosecco last night, oops), and my personal trainer has been pushing my hard at the gym, so I’m hoping for a good result and tomorrow’s weigh in. I’ve not really set myself a target to lose with slimming world, mostly because there’s so much I want to lose, but this month I’m hoping to lose half a stone to set my weightloss off to a good start.

So after a busy week, comes the weekend. Yesterday I went into London to meet up with my friend Joanne who’s recently moved to the city for a catch up. We had dinner and prosecco at the Waldorf hotel, as well as a few more cocktails and prosecco’s at near by bars. It was a lovely way to spend an evening, although I’m not too sure I fit in fancy places…

So that was my week, how was yours?

  • Eurovision*

I never used to like Eurovision, I just didn’t get it. It just seemed like a crappy version of a singing competition, but with more glitter and novelty acts. Then I went to university and my housemates reintroduced me to it, complete with a drinking game and score cards! After several drinks I started to…

Another week has just flown past, and what a busy one it’s been!
