Birthday Makeup

Today is no normal Thursday, it’s in fact my 24th birthday! I don’t have any major birthday plans today, as I’ll be at work for most of the day. But I’ll be celebrating tonight with my parents, as it’s also their wedding anniversary, so for our special day we’re all going out for dinner. As it’s my birthday I thought I’d wear some of my favourite makeup products, especially as I’m then going out tonight.

My current favourite foundation is Dior’s Star, mostly because of how gorgeous it makes my skin look, but also because it lasts all day. I hate having to reapply makeup again, so this is perfect for today. As I loved Dior’s Star foundation I also bought their concealer, which is probably one of the best I’ve tried for sometime. It’s brilliant at hiding my dark circles and blemishes, and of course I don’t want any of them showing today! I used to always colour my eyebrows in with eyeshadow, but recently I’ve been using Soap & Glory’s Arch De Triumph, and it’s fantastic. It has a brow shade on one side and a highlight shade on the other, which helps to give my brows the perfect shape. For thick full looking lashes my current go to is No. 7’s Intense Volume Mascara, it just doubles the length of my lashes. To finish off my makeup I’m planning to use Soap & Glory’s Glow All Out luminazing face powder, and then I’ll apply my Clinique Chubby Stick in Pudgy Peony.

I really like this makeup look, there’s still a bit of colour with the lipstick but it’s not too much for when I’m at work.  Now to go enjoy my birthday and eat lots of cake! 😉
