The Sunday Post #26 – Weekend Pamper

You may have noticed that my blog has been a little on the quiet side lately. Life has got very busy with work, and buying our flat and trying to sort everything out that comes with that. With everything getting a bit hectic I decided to take a bit of time off from the online world, and went away for a few days to visit the other halves family. After a bit of time away I was feeling more myself again, but thought I was in need of a bit of a pamper before I go back to the real world.




I thought I’d dig out a few of my favourite beauty products, as well as my favourite candle and take some time out in my bath, while I caught up on YouTube videos. For ages I’ve had Lush’s Unicorn Horn in my bath bomb stash, but I’ve been saving it for when I really need it, and it smells AH-MAZING. While in the bath I like to apply a hair and face mask to give my hair and skin bit of a pamper, and for this I picked out my Aussie 3 minute miracle and Origin’s Out Of Trouble face mask. Although the Aussie hair mask is usually for 3 minutes, I like leaving it on for longer when I have the chance as it leaves my hair so soft. Of course no pamper session is complete without using Soap & Glory products so I used my Clean On Me shower gel, and my ultimate favourite beauty product, The Righteous Butter. After a good pamper session it’s nice to have a new paint job, and with the days getting brighter my nail varnish choices are getting a bit bolder. I painted my nails with Barry M’s Guava for a lovely shiny summery manicure.




There’s nothing like a sweet smelling pamper session to make me feel like myself again. And after a nice relaxing pampered weekend I feel ready for the week ahead, bring it on Monday.
