This week has felt like the longest week ever after having two weeks off for Christmas. Going back to work after so long off seems to have turned my brain to mush, and I seemed to struggle with the first few days at work without my afternoon naps I became so accustomed too. Towards the end of the week I started to get back into my routine, and didn’t feel the need to climb into bed the minute I got home, so hopefully the next week will be back to normal.

Not only was it back to work this week, but it was also back to the gym and back to slimming world. I mentioned in my 2016 wishes that I’m hoping to lose weight this year, and over the past week I’ve been super good (minus a lot of prosecco last night, oops), and my personal trainer has been pushing my hard at the gym, so I’m hoping for a good result and tomorrow’s weigh in. I’ve not really set myself a target to lose with slimming world, mostly because there’s so much I want to lose, but this month I’m hoping to lose half a stone to set my weightloss off to a good start.

So after a busy week, comes the weekend. Yesterday I went into London to meet up with my friend Joanne who’s recently moved to the city for a catch up. We had dinner and prosecco at the Waldorf hotel, as well as a few more cocktails and prosecco’s at near by bars. It was a lovely way to spend an evening, although I’m not too sure I fit in fancy places…

So that was my week, how was yours?

  • Thinking Positive

Currently I’ve been trying to think a little more positively. When you’re having a bad day it’s easy to think of the negatives instead of the positives, but it’s important to motivate yourself if you’re feeling a little down and rubbish. I’ve mentioned it a little on my blog lately, but over the past 3…

  • Shopping Holidays

Being a young female addicted to buying beauty products, and not having the ability to turn down a Boots 3 for 2 offer, shopping is of course something I love. Another thing I love is holidays, be it a few days away for a city break, or a long week in the sun. So of…

  • Sunday Summary #1

    001. I love these type of posts so I’ve decided to start my own! And I’m going to try and keep it up every week. Although excuse the rubbish webcam photo, I forgot to charge my camera before I did this! 002. This past week has been rather uneventful, although it was a friend of…

  • Taking A Break

You may have noticed things have been quiet around my little corner of the internet lately. In February I started my first full time ‘real world’ job. Not having worked full time in an office environment before I didn’t know how this would effect me and my Ehlers-Danlos syndromme. I decided to be organised and schedule…
