April Goals

For the past couple of months I’ve been setting myself some monthly goals, and I’ve been doing quite well at sticking to them. As I’m getting on pretty well with them I thought I’d carry on and set myself a few for April.

Lose 1 stone
I set myself this one last month as well, but didn’t manage to achieve it. This month I want to stick to my Slimming World plan and as I’m not far away from my stone now, I want to make sure I get it this month!

Give up chocolate
This is quite a big goal for me, as I’m massively a sugar addict. Recently I’ve been experimenting with giving up chocolate, but I’ve only managed to stick to it for a few days at a time. I have found however that I feel so much better, and I’ve even had some great weightloss from doing so. This month I want to try and give up chocolate completely, and hopefully not have any chocolate for the whole of April, lets see how this goes!

Be more active
This goal is also pretty similar to last months ‘exercise more’, but now I’m into more of a routine with my exercise I want to add in a little more. I’m aiming to go to the gym 3 times a week, but I also want to try and add in a few 30 minute walks around where I live as well.

Be kinder to myself
I am my own worst enemy sometimes, and I’m forever giving myself a hard time or doubting myself. This month I want to work on being a little kinder to myself, and give myself a little more time to look after me.

Stick to my budget
I’ve spoke a little before in my previous goals how I’ve been trying to set myself a budget and cut back on my unneeded spending, but over the past few months I haven’t been the best at sticking to it. April is looking to be a pretty expensive month, with mine and Chris’s cars needing insurance, as well as taking a trip up north, so it’s pretty important that I stick to it this month!

Do you have any goals you’ve set yourself for April?
