September Favourites

Hello October, how did we get here so quickly? The past month just whizzed by for me, as I finally started redecorating my room, and I finally got a job – yay! It’s gone so quickly that I found it hard to keep up with products I’ve been using let alone which ones have actually been my favourite this month. So although it’s meant to be my September favourites, it’s more of a current favourites. Anyway let’s get on to what this month has in store.

Clinique Even Better Foundation
I bought this foundation many moons ago but recently it’s sat in my Muji drawers feeling rather unloved. It was only when I moved out of my bedroom for it to be redecorated that I rediscovered what made me fall in love with it in the first place. Clinique’s Even Better Foundation just makes my skin look, well, even better than normal! It looks like all I’ve been drinking is water and eating fruit for a month, just flawless, it’s a top foundation in my books.

Seventeen CC Cream
I feel like I’m cheating popping this in my favourites as I only actually bought it a week ago. But since then it’s been the only thing I’ve been putting on my face. I never had a great deal of luck with BB creams apart from my The Body Shop Vitamin E BB Cream, but I wanted to give CC creams a go. Seventeen is usually a brand that doesn’t disappoint me,  and as usual I’m impressed. So far it’s working great with my skin and is lasting all day. Thumbs up on this one.

Origins GinZing
Ah Origins, how I love thee. Their skin care works wonders for me and I’m yet to find a product I hate. And of course GinZing is no exception. I’m particularly loving this at the moment with my 6am starts for the new job as it helps my skin to wake up and feel a lot more alert at that time in the morning.

Soap and Glory Lipstick in Blush Pink
My lovely friend Bex introduced me to Soap & Glory lipsticks on a recent shopping trip and since then I’ve bought 2 more. Blush Pink has been my most reached for lipstick lately and usually the one I’m wearing to work as it’s the perfect everyday pink colour for me.

Bourjois Cream Blush in Healthy Glow
I love peachy colour blush’s, they just make you look all glowy and healthy, so of course this one named Healthy Glow appealed to me. I got this back in my BBB Edit Box and I’ve been loving it ever since, spending most days reaching for it.

So there you have this months favourites (or current favourites if you will), what’s been your favourite this month?

I don’t usually do these types of posts, mostly because I have so many products that I hardly use them up on a monthly basis. So hello October, how quickly it’s got to this! This year is flying past. September’s been a crazy busy month for me, what with packing and moving back to uni (another post on that soon!). I’ve been so busy with the moving back to uni I haven’t managed to find a spot where I can…

  • A Candle Obsession

My name is Lisahh-Jayne and I have an obsession with scented candles. My room is full of them and I’m forever burning them, much to my parents annoyance. I can’t even go in shops that sell them without sniffing them. It’s safe to say I need help. On a recent trip up north to visit…

  • Eloquence Skincare

As it’s a new year like most people, I’m trying to take better care of myself. Not only am I eating better, and trying to do more exercise, but I’m also trying to take better care of my skin. I often get in terrible habits of not washing my face properly, and just taking my makeup…

  • Moroccanoil

For the past couple of years I’ve heard great things about Moroccanoil. My hairdresser would rave about it, I’d see other bloggers and YouTubers rave about it, but I was yet to try it. For a long time I didn’t understand how using oil cold help my hair. Surely it would make it manky and…
