How I Relax When I’m At Home*

I work full time at a digital agency, and while I love my job, it can be quite stressful at times and for me to feel pretty tired come the end of the week. When I’m not at work I like to try and take some time out for myself to relax to get rid of the stresses of the day. I thought I’d share with you a few of these things I like to do to help relax when I’m at home.

Watch TV
This is quite a lazy choice, but I love to relax watching TV or binge watching Netflix. There’s lots of TV shows I’m really into at the moment, and I have a really big comfy sofa, so what could be a better way to relax? Although a nice glass of wine might be a great idea to go along with it

Have a bath
Sometimes I love to relax by having a huge bubble bath with all of my favourite Lush products, and to light a few scented candles. It’s a great way to lie back and relax

Play games online
While my other half likes to relax by playing his PlayStaion, I much prefer to play online bingo and blackjack. I find I can get pretty into them, especially if you can play against another player then it can get pretty competitive!

Read a book
One of my favourite ways to relax is to just curl up and read a good book. I can get lost in it for hours, and it’s great if you’ve got any blankets or cushions to snuggle up with while you read
What do you do to relax when you’re at home?

I absolutely love receiving flowers, probably more for the fact I receive them so rarely, it makes them feel that bit more special. I just love how a colourful bouquet can instantly brighten up the room and can smell gorgeous. Recently Serenata Flowers got in touch to see if I’d be interested in receiving  a bouquet of their flowers, and well of course I said…

  • Mog On The Tyne

Having a boyfriend who’s from Sunderland, a lot of our ‘holiday’ time is spent travelling up the A1 to visit friends and family members up there. I enjoy visiting the north, but I do find it very different from down here. They use funny words for one thing. On our last trip up north I…

As a reader of this blog, you should know by now I like cats right? Last year I adopted Jeff, and since then he featured on my blog quite a lot, and then earlier this year we met Victor, and another kitty was in our lives. My cats mean a lot to me, and it’s often joked that…
