Current To Read Books

I’ve always grown up in a house full of books, and I spent years when I was younger with my head stuck in a good book. I must have read hundreds of books when I was younger, but since my university days I’ve lost my passion for reading. I have a huge list of books I was to read, but I’ve never been able to get back into it. Lately I’ve decided that I really need to get back into reading, especially as it’s something I enjoy! There’s a couple of books I really want to read first that have been sitting on my bookshelf for a while now.

The book I’ve had on my to read list for the longest is Bobbi Brown’s Makeup Manual. I’ve heard so much about this in the blogging world, but I’ve not got around to reading it myself. I was thinking about buying this for a long time but kept putting off buying it as it seemed a little pricey, but then I found a copy in TK Maxx for a fiver, score!

Next on my to read list is Lena Dunham’s Not That Kind Of Girl. I don’t usually like autobiographies, but I absolutely love Lena Dunham and I’m obsessed with the TV show Girls, so Chris bought me this book for Christmas. But because I’ve been terrible at reading lately, this has just sat in my reading pile for months. I’ve heard good things about this book so I’m looking forward to giving it a read.

And finally on my to read pile is Blog Inc. I’ve actually had this book for two years now, and all I’ve done is flick through it. Recently I’ve not been into blogging as much, so I think having a good read of this should help inspire me again!

Have you read any of these books? Or do you have anything in your to read pile?

The other week it was my birthday, and I reached what I felt like was a big grown up age, 24. 24 is an age where I thought I would have had ‘my shit sorted out’ by. 24 sounds like an actual adult age. I still think of myself in my teenage years trying to sort…
